Black Music Action Coalition

Member, Executive Council

Driving industry change, I advocate for racial equity and systemic reform, supporting Black artists and executives through mentorship and policy initiatives.

The Black Music Action Coalition (BMAC) was established to ensure equity and accountability within the music industry, particularly following the industry’s 2020 commitments to combat systemic racism. Recognizing that racism is a long-standing issue, BMAC leverages the music industry’s influence to drive inclusion, diversity, and equity.

Key Achievements Over the Past Two Years: Pipeline Programs: Established sustainable initiatives to support the next generation of creatives. Legislative Advocacy: Led efforts to pass historic laws that improve safety and equity for creatives. Basic Income Programs: Designed and implemented guaranteed income programs across the U.S. Industry Accountability: Engaged with major labels, publishers, agencies, and DSPs to push for new inclusion systems.

BMAC continues to play a critical role in holding the industry accountable while working toward long-term systemic change.
