GOLF WANG launched 12 GOLF HOLIDAY SHOPS worldwide on December 2, 2023, alongside its permanent locations in Los Angeles, New York City, and London. The activation, coordinated by Jonathan Azu and his partner Killian + Company, brought temporary retail experiences to Austin, Atlanta, Chicago, Amsterdam, Berlin, Hong Kong, Tokyo, Seoul, and Melbourne, marking one of the brand’s largest global retail expansions.
The shops featured pieces from the Fall/Winter 2023 (FW23) collection, including utilitarian-inspired apparel, graffiti airbrush art prints, and a Converse Chuck 70 collaboration. Customers could also purchase items from GOLF WANG’s core collection and Tyler, The Creator’s vinyl catalog.
As the official partner, American Express provided exclusive perks for card members, including early access to the shops, a 5% discount, exclusive apparel, complimentary gifts, and dedicated checkout lines. Spotify also collaborated to enhance awareness of the holiday pop-ups in select cities.
The GOLF HOLIDAY SHOPS successfully merged fashion, music, and culture, creating a highly curated shopping experience that celebrated GOLF WANG’s global influence and Tyler, The Creator’s creative vision.
